Marc Heise (born 1986) studied Business and Administration with majors in Marketing and Information Systems at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany. He received his diploma in Business and Administration in 2011.

During his studies, he gained first work experiences as a working student in the marketing industry. After his graduation, he worked as a project manager for a digital advertising agency, where he predominantly managed projects for major brands from the German FMCG-sector.

Since September 2012, he holds a position as a research assistant and doctoral student at the chair of Electronic Commerce at Goethe University, Frankfurt.
