Gerald Banze is an “advertiser right from the beginning”, starting at DMB&B in Frankfurt and London, before enrolling for business administration at University of Münster, main emphasis marketing.
Returning to business, he entered as media planer at Michael Conrad & Leo Burnett, Frankfurt, leaving after 5 years as Media Director National Clients.
He was joining Mindshare in April 1998 and becoming Managing Director in 2002, working for clients such as Campari, Fiat Automobile, IBM, Jaguar, Kellogg‘s, Kodak, Procter & Gamble, Randstad, Red Bull, Swatch Group, Thomas Cook, United Airlines, UPI and others.
2000 until 2009 assistant professor at University of Siegen, before starting his engagement at Goethe University in 2011. 2003 awarded „Deutscher Mediapreis“ winner for creative media idea.
As a passionate long distance runner (finisher of Frankfurt Marathon), he believes in systematic and intelligent tools and processes. However, more as a must-have, whereas creative media ideas and non-conformist strategies are more and more often business- and client-winning.
