Prof. Dr. Martin Natter holds the Hans Strothoff Chair of Retailing at University of Frankfurt in Germany since 2005. He received his doctorate from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, Austria in 1994.
His research interests include retail pricing, innovative pricing mechanisms such as pay-what-you-want, new product decisions and POS optimization.
He was guest lecturer at University of Vienna (2002-2005), University of Regensburg (2001), University of Essen (2002), University of St. Gallen (1996) and University of Frankfurt (2004). Moreover he was a visiting scholar at Erasmus University Rotterdam (1997), University Pompeiu Fabra Barcelona (2000, 2001), at University of Regensburg (2001) and Univ. Auónoma de Madrid (2009-2010).
His research papers have been published in well known journals such as Management Science, Marketing Science or Journal of Marketing.
He is teaching classes in retailing, sales promotion and marketing engineering.
