„TechAcademy“ of the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main are students of the year

TechAcademy e.V.

This year, the student initiative "TechAcademy" is being honoured as "Students of the Year" by "Deutscher Hochschulverband (DHV)" and "Deutsches Studentenwerk (DSW)".

The about 20 students of the "TechAcademy", founded in 2018, pursue the goal of promoting the digital competence of their fellow students from all subject areas and disciplines with free seminars. As volunteer mentors, they impart a basic understanding of programming even to fellow students with no prior knowledge. The approach of the "TechAcademy" is deliberately low-threshold and, in IT, which has a strong male connotation, is also deliberately aimed at women; about half of the participants in the "TechAcademy" seminars are female.

The students of the year from the TechAcademy are:

Georgios Brussas, Natnael Fekade, Filip Dos Santos, Lukas Jürgensmeier, Jonathan Ratschat, Tahir Simsek, Felix Schneider, Benjamin Lucht, Daniel Schulz, Bianca Lakomiec, Dunja Djebbari, Lara Zaremba, Manuel Mair am Tinkhof, Tom Schwitzkowski, Nadja Wüst, Lazaros Papadopoulos, Reinhild Rülfing, Esnaf Memovic, Mona Stöckl, Pascal Klimmesch, Daniel Hinz and Jan Zacharias
