Maximilian Matthe (1992) holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Economics (with minor in Computer Science) from the University of Würzburg, where he graduated in 2015. In 2017 he completed the Master’s Program in Money and Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt, focused on Financial Economics and Econometrics. During his Master studies, he acted as a teaching assistant at Goethe University's Institute of Mathematics, tutoring undergraduate lectures in Real Analysis and Linear Algebra.
Besides studying, he gained first work experience as a software engineer in an IT-startup, contributing to the development of AI-based decision support systems. Moreover, he worked at an Investment Fund Company in the area Asset Allocation and Fixed Income.
In May 2017, he joined the Chair of Electronic Commerce at Goethe University as a student research assistant, working on the DFG project “Creating Insights in Large Markets”. Since October 2017 he holds a position as a research assistant and doctoral student.
