About

 

Agnish Ghatak is a doctoral student in Marketing at the Graduate School of Economics, Finance and Management (GSEFM) at Goethe University Frankfurt. He also serves as a research assistant on an ERC-funded project "Economic Consequences of Restrictions on the Usage of Cookies” since December 2024, contributing to research on the economic consequences of privacy initiatives.

Agnish’s academic background includes a Postgraduate Diploma in General Management (MBA) from XLRI Jamshedpur, India, and a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology. His research interests span startup marketing, high-growth firms, customer-based corporate valuation (CBCV), marketing strategy, loyalty and retention, and privacy in digital marketing.

Before transitioning to academia, Agnish gained diverse experience in marketing and strategy roles, where he developed expertise in aligning marketing initiatives with business growth objectives across B2B and B2C industries.
