About

Karlo Lukic received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from a university in Croatia. Subsequently, he moved to Germany to pursue a Master's degree at the Goethe University Frankfurt. While studying, Karlo worked part-time as a student assistant and a freelance music producer for Croatia Records. Additionally, he interned at a tech startup that Apple later acquired.

Currently, Karlo is a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Electronic Commerce at the Goethe University Frankfurt. His research primarily focuses on consumer privacy, online tracking, and privacy laws. To investigate the research questions, he employs regression analysis, causal inference, and web data crawling methods. Bernd Skiera and Klaus M. Miller supervise his doctoral studies.
