He held a scholarship from the German Academic Merit Scholarship Foundation.
His interest lies at the intersection of big data and quantitative methods applied to business and economic questions in the context of social networks and advertising data. Nils continued to be affiliated with the Deep Data Lab for another year, where he presented his work at the American Economic Association's annual conference in New Orleans and the National Association for Business Economics Tech conference in Seattle.
Before joining the Chair of Electronic Commerce at Goethe University in 2023, Nils gained several years of industry experience with a start-up in the social networking space. There, he analyzed data and was responsible for improving programmatic advertising performance.
