Rene Laub holds a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Economics from Heidelberg University. During his studies he has been a visiting student at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and gained further experience abroad during summer schools at the University of California, Berkeley and the London School of Economics (LSE). His fields of focus were Econometrics and Behavioral Finance and he gained several teaching experience as a teaching assistant for the courses “Introduction to Economics” and “Econometrics”.
Rene Laub was working as an intern at the KfW IPEX Bank in the area of Corporate- and Export Financing as well as in the area of Policy Evaluation as an intern at Ramboll Management Consulting. He has also been a research assistant at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim in the department "Corporate Taxation and Public Finance". After finishing his studies he started working as a consultant at Commerz Business Consulting, the Inhouse Consulting unit of Commerzbank AG, with a focus on digitization & Big Data.
Since March 2017 Rene Laub is an external doctoral student at the Chair of Electronic Commerce at Goethe University in cooperation with Commerz Business Consulting.
