Student assistant wanted at the Faculty of Business Economics

The Department of Marketing (J.-Prof. Dr. Simone Wies) at Goethe University Frankfurt is seeking to fill the position of a Student Assistant (m/f/d) (40h/month) starting the earliest possible date for a project funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).

Our research focus

In this project, we plan to examine how firms can combat short-term stock market pressures and continue to innovate in high-risk projects. Specifically, we seek to investigate how firms can create sustainable marketing innovation strategies and which internal and external (marketing) factors help firms doing so. As such, the research project is inherently interdisciplinary and connects research in marketing, innovation, finance, and strategy.

We are looking for support for the empirical analysis of this project. This includes help on assembling a new data base, managing existing data, and conducting analyses. In return, we offer an enthusiastic team of colleagues, exciting data management opportunities, participation in an international scientific team, flexible working hours, and opportunities to enrich one’s analytical toolset.
