Bachelor and Master Thesis

Bachelor Thesis

Bachelor theses at the Chair of Marketing Strategy and Performance are allocated through the QIS system.

No bachelor thesis will be allocated outside the QIS system.

As soon as we receive the results of the allocation for the bachelor thesis, we will contact the students with an appointment for a kick-off event in which all relevant information regarding topic allocation, formalities and procedure will be discussed.

Please note in advance for the choice of your bachelor thesis:

  • The theses are empirical in nature, requiring assembling, managing, and analyzing a unique data set. It is therefore recommended to have experience with statistical software (e.g., R and Python).
  • The theses are written in English.
  • The topics match the research focus of the chair and include

• the financial implications of marketing strategy phenomena

• the dynamics of financing choices on marketing strategy

• the investment character of marketing investments and marketing assets

• the funding of marketing strategies

• strategic innovation management

You can register your bachelor's thesis up until the last day of the respective semester, including during the lecture-free period. However, please note that active supervision does not continue beyond the end of the semester.

Master Thesis

The Master's thesis topics in the Department of Marketing are assigned centrally via an OLAT room.
